Skift Megatrends Travel Magazine

Just before Christmas I was approached by Skift - a travel and media company -  to produce some work for their annual industry travel magazine. Ping, the art director discovered my work through The Women Who Draw, a directory of female* illustrators which I joined last year. It's a great initiative and I'm so pleased art directors are looking to it to source illustrators!

'The Megatrends Defining Travel in 2018' explores new trends and themes emerging in travel, I illustrated the six articles below, my favourite depiciting tourists exploring the culture of Latin America. I chose the Frida Kahlo Museum which I'm desperate to visit! (especially after studying photos of it for reference!) I've had a peek at the magazine, it's beautifully designed and it's great to see an industry magazine that use illustration so heavily.
